Shipping Associate (Skokie)

We are seeking Packaging and Shipping Staff for our NEW production facility. This role will be responsible for taking our completed marshmallows and getting them where they need to go! This role works under our Fulfillment Department, and often works with our Production team. We have many opportunities for advancement and cross-training in other departments. This position requires dedication to detail, the ability to stand for long periods of time, the ability to lift 50lbs, and experience with food safety is a MUST.

As Shipping Associate, You Will:

Job Responsibilities:
* Packaging product with skill and speed.
* Tracking inventory of product coming in and going out of Fulfillment.
* Ship a variety of packages, from single-items traveling domestically, to large wholesale international orders.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Flexible mindset with a solution-oriented attitude is a must.

Job & Education Requirements:

*At least 1 year packaging or shipping experience.
*At least a high school diploma.
*Demonstrated ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
* Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
*Enthusiasm for confections, marshmallows, and gaining experience from a women-led food business.
*Ability to stand for 8hr shifts and lift 50lbs.

XO Cafe Staff (Chicago)

Join the XO team! Our cafe is looking for energetic employees who exemplify the brand, have a can-do attitude, and have a passion for making s’mores. 

As an XO Cafe Staffer, You Will:

Be the first engagement a customer has with our brand.Support our production team by packaging product, preparing orders, and setting the online team up for success.Handle retail merchandise, including stocking shelves, receiving orders, and ensuring the retail areas are in pristine condition.Prepare a variety of food and beverage items, including s’mores, frozen and hot cafe drinks, and seasonal specialty items. Uphold food safety protocols as set by the state and local government agencies.Provide exemplary customer service at all times.

Job & Education Requirements:

At least 1 Year food service experience, cafe preferredMust have ability to work Days, Nights, and WeekendsEstablished understanding of food safety standardsAbility to work in busy, fast-paced environmentAble to lift 50lbs, and stand for 8hoursDemonstrated excellent customer service experienceStable work historyHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)
