Recipe: S'mores Puffed Pastries

S'mores Puffed Pastries
We have a confession.
Sometimes we want a s'more, but we don't want to build a fire.
There. We said it.
Don't get us wrong. We love sitting around a campfire with friends, fighting over who burned their marshmallow and who somehow achieved the perfect golden brown toast. But sometimes it's raining. Sometimes it's January. Sometimes you're just craving a s'more at 9pm on a Wednesday.
That's where these S'mores Puffed Pastries come in.
They're one of our favorite recipes from the XO Marshmallow Cookbook because they somehow manage to feel nostalgic and completely over-the-top at the same time.
The inspiration actually came from those toaster pastries we all grew up eating before school. You know the ones. The silver wrapper. The questionable amount of frosting. The crumbs all over the kitchen counter.
We've got buttery puff pastry, melted chocolate, gooey marshmallow, and just enough crunch to make every bite ridiculously satisfying.
The best part? No campfire required.
Why We Love This Recipe?
- Because it tastes like summer vacation.
- Because it reminds us of childhood.
- Because it's one of those desserts that makes people immediately ask for the recipe.
- And because marshmallows have always been about more than dessert.
- They're about slowing down for a minute. Sitting around a table. Sharing something sweet with people you love.
That's kind of our whole thing around here.
So whether you're making these for a backyard BBQ, a weekend baking project, or just because you're having one of those weeks and need a little extra joy, we hope you love them as much as we do.
Now let's make some puffed pastries.
